MATH - 112 Math for Business 3

Utilization of mathematical operations to solve practical business application problems. The core topics include percentages with applications, banking (check writing, statement reconciliation) cash and trade discounts, markup and markdowns, payroll, interest, notes, present value. Additional topics may include installment buying, mortgages, taxes, insurance, stocks, bonds, analysis of financial statements, treatment of depreciation, and inventory costs. (GEC-2)

Pre-requisite(s):
ACT Math 19 or Accuplacer Arithmetic 85.
Co-Requisite(s):
MATH 012  if required by placement
