Program Description

This online certificate program provides four introductory courses into the world of cyber security. Students will learn to plan and carry out security measures to protect an organization’s computer networks and systems through an Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Networking, Introduction to Security and Introduction to Cloud Security leading to industry certifications in each area.

Program Learning Outcomes

• Establish and supervise legal and ethical practices in the cyber security arena
• Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategic plan
• Respond to ongoing cyber security threats and vulnerabilities
• Effectively communicate cyber threats and remediation strategy across organizational levels in both verbal and written formats.
• Integrate technical knowledge, software and hardware capabilities, and threat and vulnerability awareness across varying technology formats such as operating systems, networking, social media, and mobile and handheld devices.
