Program Description

The Health Sciences CAS program offers students an interdisciplinary approach to study health sciences. The program curriculum integrates core courses with a focus on health that allign with pre-major tracks as an avenue for degree completion.

Program Learning Outcomes

  • Formulate effective communication of health-related concepts and information in a professional manner
  • Apply problem-solving skills by examining challenges in a diverse healthcare environment
  • Demonstrate an understanding of ethical principles and standards relevant to the healthcare environment

Program Assessment

A variety of evaluation methods is utilized to assess student learning outcomes.

Program Requirements


PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. Certificate-level programs require a minimum of 30 hours of credit. It is the responsibility of the student to select an appropriate combination of restricted electives to meet the minimum credit hour requirement.
