DMSU - 200 Sectional Imaging & Terminology 2 This course compares cross-sectional normal anatomywith images of anatomy as depicted on sonography, CT, and MRI scans. Students will explore human anatomy in sagittal, coronal, transverse, and orthogonal sections essential to current techniques for diagnostic imaging. An introduction to 3D and 4D imaging will be presented. Medical terminology is presented to augment student learning.
Pre-requisite(s): Acceptance into the DMS Program. Co-Requisite(s): DMSU 230 , ECHO 210 , ECHO 220 Students must pass this course to continue in the Cardiac Sonography program with a grade C or better. (100% online)
