BIOL - 210 ~ Human Anatomy and Physiology 3 (ILO 2) This course will explore the principles of human anatomy and physiology beginning with the cell and progressing to tissues and body systems. Anatomical exploration of the human body will include the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, sensory, endocrine, circulatory, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems and may include genetics and human development. Human anatomical development from conception to across the life span will be synthesized within the course content and correct human anatomical terminology utilization will be expected throughout. The cause-and-effect mechanisms of the human body will be examined as they apply to cells, tissues, organs, and body systems in the healthy state. Physiological exploration of the human body will include the nervous, sensory, endocrine, muscular, hematology, circulatory, immune, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and male and female reproductive systems, pregnancy & growth and development.
