A one-semester chemistry course covering the basics of general, inorganic, and organic chemistry. Topics covered include atomic structure, chemical bonding, chemical equations, radioactivity, stoichiometry, acids and bases, hydrocarbons, functional groups and important biological molecules.

Pre-requisite(s):
Eligible for ENGL 101

MATH 119 (C or better) or eligible for MATH 125
