This course is designed to introduce the student to the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) diagnostic coding with an in-depth study of ICD-10-CM coding conventions and guidelines. Students develop their coding skills using the ICD-10-CM diagnostic coding manual to accurately apply ICD-10-CM codes to exercises and case studies applicable to any clinical setting.
