This course will provide an introduction to the practice of clinical and diagnostic microbiology. Course content will include such topics as (but not limited to) routine and special specimen processing, clinically significant isolates, and analysis of body systems for infectious diseases. This course will consist of didactic content and laboratory instruction coupled with laboratory time ot practice the necessary applicable skills.

Pre-requisite(s):
MLAB 101 (B or higher)

AND

Grade of C or higher in all pre-requisite science classes
