This course emphasizes skill development in wood pole climbing, bucket truck operation, and use of a digger derrick. Students will demonstrate practical construction and skilled trade abilities through hands-on assessments. The course also provides an opportunity to explore and evaluate the demands and expectations of a career as a utility line service mechanic, with particular focus on working safely and effectively at heights.
