This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and practical applications of heavy equipment used in utility construction. Emphasis is placed on the operation, components, and basic functions of equipment such as mini excavators, backhoes, and skid steer loaders. Students will develop essential entry-level operating skills through hands-on activities. This course focuses on basic operation and safety practices and does not include certification for equipment operation.
