This foundational course introduces students to the principles and practices of ergonomics in the field of medical imaging. The course explores how ergonomic strategies can reduce the risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs), improve workflow efficiency, and enhance patient care. Topics include body mechanics, equipment design, workstation layout, repetitive motion risks, and safe patient handling. Students will learn to identify ergonomic hazards and implement best practices in various imaging environments.
