This course examines the principles and practices of promoting health and preventing disease within communities and populations. Students will explore social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors that influence community health, as well as the roles of public health agencies and health professionals. Emphasis is places on applying community health concepts to real-world situations through case studies and project-based learning.
