Program Description:

The Radiologic Technology program is a selective admission program with a curriculum designed to train and prepare students for a career in medical imaging. The program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to operate imaging equipment and function as an integral member of the healthcare team. Graduates are prepared to take on the role of radiologic technologist and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions by producing high-quality medical images.

Program Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate clinical proficiency in the operation of medical imaging equipment by performing high-quality diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Analyze and interpret medical images by recognizing anatomical structures and identifying pathological conditions
  • Implement patient-centered care through empathy, effective communication, and cultural competence
  • Apply standards of professionalism and ethics by following patient confidentiality, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
