Program Description
The Diesel Engine Repair Basic Skill Set prepares students for entry-level positions in the diesel service industry. The program provides foundational training in the maintenance, repair, and performance optimization of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. The curriculum includes workforce readiness training, introductory computer applications, and basic welding. Students earn industry-recognized First Aid/CPR/AED certification, enhancing employability across a range of diesel service occupations. Graduates are equipped with the essential skills and technical knowledgeto begin careers as diesel service technicians in industries such as transportation, construction, agriculture, and energy.
