Program Description 

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AAS–AMFT) degree program provides a highly interactive, hands-on course of study that prepares graduates for careers in today’s modern manufacturing environment. Graduates of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program are trained to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced electromechanical manufacturing equipment. Students develop a broad, multidisciplinary foundation in electrical systems, mechanical systems, fluid power, automation, and fabrication. This comprehensive skill set prepares graduates to work effectively with complex modern manufacturing systems.

The Fabrication concentration emphasizes manual machining, CAD/CAM, and CNC machining, in addition to the fundamental skills required to maintain and repair electromechanical systems.

  3. Analyze data collected in a laboratory setting.
  4. Apply standard industrial safety practices.

Program Requirements


PROGRAM NOTES:

  1. Associate-level programs require a minimum of 60 hours of credit. When programs allow flexible electives, it is the responsibility of the student to select an appropriate combination of electives to meet the minimum credit hour requirement for the program.
