CMGT - 111 Construction Management I 4
This course will introduce students to the subject of construction project management including project management processes, risk, contracts, delivery models, scope, stakeholder, and safety management principles and processes. Students will also gain knowledge of and be tested on the knowledge areas associated with the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) offered through the Project Management Institute, an internationally recognized project management credentialing organization. Software applications of course content will include MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This is the first of three courses that constitute the Construction Management Advanced Skill Set Certificate.
