ACCT - 215 Financial Accounting I 3 The course provides students with an understanding of the nature and purpose of accounting and its function in business. The principles and concepts underlying the accounting cycle, transaction analysis and recording; financial statement preparation, disclosures and analysis; and ethical issues are addressed. The course includes units on inventories, internal control, cash, receivables, fixed and intangible assets, current and long-term liabilities, and stockholders’ equity, preparation of financial statements, income tax, and investments.
Pre-requisite(s): BUSN 112 (C or better), MATH 125 (C or better), or MATH 130 (C or better)
