HWAY - 105 WorkZone Traffic Control 3 A course in standard practices to provide for the orderly, safe and efficient movement of all road users on streets and highways throughout the nation and state in accordance with national and state requirements. The control of all road users through a temporary traffic control (TTC) zone is an essential part of highway construction, utility work, maintenance operations, and the management of traffic incidents. It is required to plan for the needs of all road users including motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians, including persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1999 (ADA), Title II, Paragraph 35.130. Topics include typical applications, traffic control plans, traffic control devices, flagging procedures, and pavement markings. Web-based course.
