HMGT - 220 Lean Six Sigma for HMGT & BUSN 1

This course is an interdisciplinary course that focuses on the basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma. The focus of this course is specifically the yellow belt designation for business and healthcare. These individuals serve as valuable members of the development of process maps to support six sigma projects. The topics covered include: the history, application, process improvement, methods, and basic six sigma and lean concepts, creating a problem statement, defining a process, basic team management, and introduction to the phases of a process.

Pre-requisite(s):
ENGL 101 (C or better), MATH 113 or higher, and MGMT 202
