MATH - 113 ~ Mathematical Reasoning 3 (ILO 2) Mathematical Reasoning (MATH 113) is a 3-hour course that provides students with a survey of mathematics in the areas of Logical Reasoning, Number Sense, Descriptive Statistics and Probability. The course incorporates problem solving, critical thinking, and oral and writing communication fluency. Approaches and methods used in the course include choosing and using appropriate mathematical models, the use of data, and the use of realworld applications.
Pre-requisite(s): MATH 109 (C or higher)
OR
Accuplacer Arithmetic 263+ and QAS 250+
OR
ACT Math 19+
OR
SAT Math 510+
NOTE: Students who took MATH 109E MUST take MATH 113E.
