AMTM - 173 CPT-Manufacturing Processes & Production 3

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills related to manufacturing processes and production in a manufacturing environment. Topics include automation systems, materials, manufacturing processes, basic mechanical concepts, hand tools, machining and CNC equipment, automated manufacturing systems, production metrics, production planning and workflows, lean manufacturing, inventory management and production control. This course is designed to prepare students for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council’s (MSSC) Manufacturing Processes Certification assessment. Success completion of the Safety, Quality, Manufacturing Processes and Maintenance Awareness certification exams qualifies students for the Certified Production Technician industrial certification.
