This course is designed for Allied Health, Nursing, EMS, or other students who plan to take clinical courses or work in a health care setting. The course is designed to teach students to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, and cardiovascular emergencies. The course includes in-hospital and on-scene treatment scenarios. In addition to first aid basics, students complete the course with American Heart Association Basic Life Support or Heartsaver certification.
