Measure distances manually and electronically; Measure angles optically and electronically; Record/maintain detailed and accurate surveying notes; Perform traverse functions and determine adjusted positions of traverse stations; Perform field measurements and calculations for profiles and cross-sections; Determine earthwork quantities for engineering projects; Understand property surveys and the process of producing and analyzing plats; Produce topographic maps from field data; Display the interpersonal skills necessary to function in a team environment
