FINC - 280 Financial Management 3


This course examines basic corporate financial management concepts and principles. This course will explore the following topic areas: how firms utilize financial statements to communicate information; corporate tax rates and calculations; time value of money and bond valuation; a firm’s use of stock and the growth dividend model; and capital budgeting. This course is designed to introduce undergraduate students to foundational financial management tools and techniques to help them satisfy the goal of corporate financial management: increase the value of stock.
