Program Description:

The Basic Skill Set is a fast turnaround, one-semester program that introduces students to the basic skills for operation of a wide variety of processing equipment and systems found in the industries including Chemical Manufacturing, Refinery Operations, Pulp/Paper Manufacturing, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

• Define standard terms used to describe processes and process equipment. 
• Apply Occupational Health & Safety regulations in the context of process technology operations
